Market Update : Indian Markets End Flat






Indian markets closed today's session on a flat note after opening weak and dropping over 100 points. BSE Sensex closed today's trading day with a loss of 6 points while NSE-Nifty closed the day with marginal gains of 2 points. BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap stocks outperformed today's market. Smallcap stocks gained over 1% while midcap stocks edged moderately upwards by 0.3%. Banks, Capital Goods and Pharma stocks traded with a negative bias while rest of the stocks gained moderate positive momentum.

NSENIFTY closed up   2.050 at 8,780.350.  Volume was 14% below average (neutral) and Bollinger Bands were 9% narrower than normal.
